Hi there! I'm Sarah Louise, the human behind Blue Rose! My passion for vegan cooking started at an early age, as I grew up in rural Alberta, working in my family's truckstop diner. As plant based options were scarce, I quickly learned to adapt with ingredients that were available, and create alternatives to my favourite classic comfort foods.
When I moved to Edmonton, AB in the summer of 2014, I launched Blue Rose Baking Co. through local farmers markets, and have collaborated with many local businesses on pop up events. These days, while I am not currently baking commercially, I can be found cooking classes via the City of Edmonton, and you can view our calendar for other events as well!
